Lee Starr is a songwriter and producer hailing from Texarkana, Arkansas. After relocating from Austin, Texas to Nashville in 2014, he hit the road as a touring guitarist before landing his first publishing deal in 2018. His breakout moment came in late 2021 with Elvie Shane’s Platinum-certified debut single, My Boy, which became his first No. 1 hit. Starr’s songwriting catalog also includes Drew Green’s Gold-certified Good Ol’ Man and Conner Smith’s viral anthem I Hate Alabama. With dozens of cuts across a diverse range of artists, Lee continues to make his mark on country music. Most recently, he co-produced Ashland Craft’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Dive Bar Beauty Queen.
